What started as a long-shot to a career, became a passion.

MacMach5 is a sort of documentation of my PC technician journey.  The name itself is an ode to my beginnings,  failures to be honest. My first attempt at creating something, other than my first PC build, was a mess. An Open Media Vault - server, MacOpenMedia, failed, multiple times. Hense the Mach5. I eventually made it work, but have since repurposed the machine as a way to try out different Linux distributions, flavors, and spins.

The Point?

This is a place to share what I've learned. Mistakes, triumphs, etc. Whether you are looking for advice, or products to try, why not see if I've tried it?

I'm no expert, and there are people out there who have more experience. If you are still looking at this page, why not dig further?

Check out some of the projects I've attempted, or even finished! You might get some ideas yourself.

Budget PC Builds

One of my favorite time-wasters is looking online for deal and building lists with the goal of creating budget PCs, servers, and home-lab solutions. Hit me up if you are looking for a good place to start.

Troubleshooting

I am always up for learning something new, or helping out others. And hey, can't hurt to ask, right?
