There are high end PCs, and there are budget builds. I love making lists on Newegg, Amazon, and eBay that showcase what you can do on a budget. A fairly decent server? eBay cart. Free shipping with decent pricing? Amazon list. Best you can get for a price, with good comparison and compatibility check? Newegg.
